Can't find a job

I was wondering if anyone can give me any advice in finding a legal job. I've gone through OCI and one round of sending out resumes with hardly a bite. I'm about to send out my resume to some smaller firms in my area, but I don't want to just repeate whatever mistakes I've been making so far.

I'm a 3rd year law student at Fordham Law School. I'm about in the middle of my class standings, but I'm an associate editor on the IP Law Journal. I also have been working in the Family Advocacy Clinic since the fall. I have a background in computer science, but I'm not really interest in IP or technology law. Primarily I'm interested in real estate, T&E and family law.

The resume that I've been sending out so far can be found here and my cover letter can be found here. Both are in word format.

I appreciate any help anyone can provide.
